It’s cover release day for STAINED GLASS HEARTS – Book 2 in the Bog Sky Dreamers series. This has always been one of favorite books and won a lot of awards when I was an unpublished author. It’s already up for pre-sale on Amazon.
Let me tell you a little bit about Mitch and Tierney’s story.
Both homes and hearts can be restored.
Mitch, a rigid and emotionally reserved attorney, has a passion for restoring old buildings. By himself. He doesn’t believe in intimacy or happily-ever-after. His parents’ marriage showed him it didn’t exist.
Tierney’s a gregarious and talented stained glass artist who needs to heal from her broken her engagement while completing the biggest commission of her life, a church. She needs a studio and finds the perfect space in a dilapidated mansion on the bluffs of the Mississippi.
Unfortunately, the mansion comes with strings. The Historical Society grant requires a couple to restore the house. Mitch and Tierney team up through Tierney’s Realtor cousin and convince the Society they are a loving couple and win the grant. But a year is a long time to keep up the act.
Especially when the line between acting and reality starts to fade.

As an author, I never know how a book is going to be received. I spend hours drafting and revising, to the point I can quote some of the 85,000 words. But this review made me smile and cry. Anytime I get a 5 star review, I do a happy dance. When it’s a new reader it’s even more special.

Here’s the cover reveal of INVEST IN ME– Book 1 of the the BIG SKY DREAMERS series. I have to say I love it. It might be because in high school I loved the color orange. Or maybe because I did have an orange ski outfit. (Boy I wish I could fit into those pants right now!!)

My next series is about to launch! The series name — Big Sky Dreamers. I can’t wait for you to meet this new cast of characters.
The cover for — Invest in Me — is stunning! (At least I think so.) I’ll be doing a reveal in the next few weeks. Here’s a little teaser.

I had a fantastic time at this year’s Barbara Vey Reader Appreciation  Weekend. Getting to meet readers is always so much fun. And I got to see readers from last year’s weekend and the Jan cruise.
Since I had so much fun – I asked the Coffee, Cupcake and Contemporaries — Book Group if they had been to a Reader’s Event and what they liked about them. Swing over and let me know what you think!
